Albanet Starts Coordination Service to Help Bakeries Find Their Successors

Albanet, an organization helping Japanese retail bakeries, has recently started coordination service to help bakeries find their successors. They introduce young bakers who hope to have their own shops, to the bakeries that has to be closed due to such reasons as the owner chefs being old and having no successors, despite keeping pretty good sales.

As for listing the bakeries who has no successors, they utilize the nation-wide networks of various bakery organizations, in addition to cooperating with flour milling companies, ingredients manufacturers, ingredients wholesalers, machine manufacturers, dairy manufacturers, industry newspapers, etc. And among the listed bakeries, they will recruit owners who wish to transfer or rent the shop.

On the other hand, the listing of young bakers who wish to have their own shops is done by obtaining information from bakery owners who employ bakers who wish to become independent, and from teachers of bakery vocational schools nationwide.

Those who want to be listed, have to be members of Albanet, and the owner shefs who want to transfer or rent their shops can freely browse the list of bakers who want to have their own shops, and the bakers who want to have their own shops can freely browse the list of owner shefs who want to transfer or rent their shops. After the transfer or rental contract is completed, Alba net will provide management and technical guidance to the bakers who have succeeded or rented the shop, if necessary.
