Tomiz Sells Madeleines, Financiers, Galettes Bretonnes, and Cookies
Tomiz, a wholesaler of bread and confectionery ingredients operating a nationwide network of bakery and confectionery ingredient specialty shops, headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and headed by President Jun Tomizawa, has been selling 4 items of baked goods, which are madeleines, financiers, galettes Bretonnes, and cookies, at their shops nationwide since December 4, 2021 The baked goods are made with the company's original recipes using the confectionery ingredients the company deals in, to enhance the aroma of flour and butter. The company has also prepared five different gift boxes for use as souvenirs. The company expects demand for these products during the year-end and New Year holidays. The madeleines and financiers are made with the company's original Japanese flour, named "Gifts from Tomizawa", which gives them a moist texture and a "light melt-in-your-mouth feel," according to the company. For the galettes Bretonnes and cookies, French wheat flour "Ecriture", is used to create a delicate crispy texture. No preservatives or colorants are used, and the company strives to bring out the natural taste of the ingredients. Ms. Saori Yoshida of Tomiz, who was in charge of the planning and development of the baked products, said, "We came up with this project because we wanted to deliver the fun of homemade items by combining our special ingredients with our original recipes. We spent a lot of time developing the products, and we have come up with delicious products that we can sell with confidence." |
