Welpen Pharma, a company operating dispensing pharmacies mainly in Han-know City, Saitama Prefecture, opened "Welpen-kun Bakery," a shokupan specialty shop, in Hanno City on October 4. The main feature of the shop is that it produces and sells bread supervised by a pharmacist and a nutritionist. The bread is made without preservatives, colorings, flavorings, or emulsifiers.

Welpen Pharma also sells products that use germ, five grains, and raisins. germ is rich in minerals and vitamins. five grains are rich in dietary fiber, and raisins are rich in potassium and iron.

The manufactured and sold products are "Welpen-kun's Nama Shokupan Bread" (850 yen including tax), "Welpen-kun's Bread with the Benefits of Mountains and Rivers" (850 yen including tax), and "Welpen-kun's Toasted Shokupan Bread" (750 yen including tax).

"Welpen-kun's Nama Shokupan Bread" is made with plenty of fresh cream, fermented butter, condensed milk and honey from Hokkaido, and has a soft texture and natural sweetness. It contains no flavorings, colorings, preservatives, or emulsifiers.

"Welpen-kun's Bread with the Benefits of Mountains and Rivers" is a bread containing five grains and raisins. The five grains are barley, brown rice, pigeon peas, rye, and black rice. The taste and texture of the five grains are enhanced by the sourness and sweetness of the raisins, and the soft texture of the bread gently envelops the entire loaf.

Developed under the supervision of a pharmacist, this item is so nutritious with the five grains being rich in dietary fiber, and the raisins containing potassium and iron.

"Welpen-kun's Toasted Shokupan Bread" is a bread with a crunchy texture that can be enjoyed when it is toasted. It also contains germ, which gives the bread a nut-like aroma and richness when toasted.
